East Carolina University

The East Carolina University (ECU) chapter was established in 2022 by Hannah Blackburn. The goal of this chapter is to to promote HHP’s mission on social media, build local connections, and create innovative solutions to unique challenges faced by those with limb difference. The ECU chapter has hosted multiple guest speaker nights with presenters from software automation, children’s summer camps, physical therapy, and 3D printing prosthetics and orthotics groups. They have also held fundraising events and trained their members how to use SolidWorks and the 3D printers available at ECU.
