The University of North Carolina Wilmington chapter was established in 2023 by Jordan McLeod. UNCW strives to make an impact within the limb difference community through increased awareness and the creation of general prosthetics. As part of this mission, we aim to enhance our finger prosthetic designs, develop further support for the post-prosthetic phase, and continue to educate the Wilmington community on the importance of accessibility. Over the past two years, we have designed and printed custom finger prosthetics and had the opportunity to present and lead an activity at a local middle school.
